Graduation day for TPCH/ACU Clinical School nurses

Congratulations to the first cohort of students to graduate from The Prince Charles Hospital / Australian Catholic University Clinical School with their Bachelor of Nursing.

The graduation took place at the ACU Fabiola Oration and Convocation at the Banyo Campus on 7 December 2017.

Nursing Research and Practice Development Centre research assistant Josephine Lovegrove received the inaugural TPCH/ACU Honours Scholarship.

The award, which is jointly funded by TPCH and ACU, pays for her enrolment fees and provides a generous research bursary to assist with Josephine’s Honours research study that is investigating pressure injury risk assessment at TPCH.

The Honours Scholarship is one of the benefits available to TPCH nursing staff as a result of its Clinical School Collaboration Agreement with ACU.

This year’s oration was given by Metro North’s Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery, Adjunct Professor Alanna Geary, who gave an inspiring presentation about nursing.

Congratulations to the first cohort of Bachelor of Nursing students to graduate from the TPCH /ACU Clinical School.
