Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) also known as Adult Intensive Care Services (AICS), is a 27-bed facility providing care to critically ill patients with a wide range of conditions. Our aim is to provide appropriate, efficient and excellent care to these patients.<\/p>\n

Heart and lung care<\/h2>\n

We are the only public hospital in Brisbane\u2019s north with a designated world-class cardiothoracic ICU for patients who have undergone open heart and lung surgery.<\/p>\n

The unit has specialised devices and experienced staff to support patients with a failing heart and\/or lungs. \r\n\r\nThe main entrance to The Prince Charles Hospital is located on the Ground floor of the Main Building, accessed via Rode Road. If you are using a GPS to get to our hospital, use address 627 Rode Road, Chermside.
