Day Unit Investigation Therapy (DUIT) is an innovative\u00a0outpatient <\/span>service which provides\u00a0<\/span>tests and\u00a0treatments for patients who would otherwise be required to be admitted into hospital.\u00a0<\/span>This makes booking times quicker and access to services more convenient for patients.<\/span><\/p>\n \n","conditions_treated":"","our_services":" Diagnosis using radiological investigations (x-rays, MRI and CT scans etc.) or pathology (blood, urine and tissue) testing.<\/p>\n Procedures and treatments including the drainage of fluid in the abdomen (ascites) or chest (pleural effusion), blood transfusions, medication infusions (e.g. iron) and IV fluids for rehydration.<\/p>\n We manage a variety of conditions that have traditionally been treated during a hospital stay.
