Our Vascular Surgery Department provides specialised services for people who have problems with their veins and arteries.\u00a0 The department is a satellite service of the Royal Brisbane Women\u2019s Hospital (RBWH)<\/a> vascular department. We provide surgical services for northern Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and as far north as Rockhampton. We also receive tertiary referrals from throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales.<\/p>\n","conditions_treated":"","our_services":" We offer outpatient consultation and surgical services at two hospital sites including Royal Brisbane Women\u2019s Hospital (RBWH). We provide a full range of specialised diagnostic and surgical procedures. These include:<\/p>\n You need a referral letter from your GP or medical practitioner to access this service.\u00a0 Your doctor will need to send your referral letter to the hospital.<\/p>\n If there is a waiting list<\/a>, you will receive a confirmation letter and be advised on what to do next.\u00a0If there is no waiting list, you will receive an appointment booking letter or we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for your appointment. <\/span><\/p>\n We always try to ensure that clinics run on time. Sometimes there are unavoidable delays and it can take between 1-2 hours to see one of our specialists.
