Frequently asked questions
What are travel subsidy forms?
If you live in a rural or remote area and have to travel more than 50km for specialist medical services that are not available locally, you may be eligible for the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme to help with your travel costs. If you have been referred from another Queensland Health hospital, ask your doctor from your ‘home’ hospital for travel subsidy forms and bring them to your appointment at RBWH.
Can I have a copy of my scans? Who do I ask?

Can a medical certificate be provided for myself and my partner? Who do I ask?
