Dr Tanya Smyth is a mental health research fellow at the Jamieson Trauma Institute. She has an Honours degree in psychology and PhD in health behaviour awarded by the Queensland University of Technology. She was awarded a post-doctoral Fellowship at McGill University, Canada, where she conducted research within an interdisciplinary team on impaired driving. Tanya has also previously held principal roles in research and policy in state government in road safety behaviour related areas, and has completed post-graduate training in policy analysis at Griffith University.
