Process for Presentation of cases and issues for Committee Review

Hospital Departments, Individual Clinicians can Volunteer cases for review by the Committee

In a confidential forum, Statewide Trauma System or service-related issues are discussed by the members of multidisciplinary Statewide Committee.

Cases highlighting issues or concerns including guidelines, procedures and patient care are discussed providing feedback and evidence-based actions which are undertaken by the committee as required.
The committee meets every second month.

Recommendations may support:

  1. Adaptation or Establishment of Policy or Clinical Management Guidelines
  2. Educational aspects / Symposiums
  3. Advancement of Telehealth and other technical advances
  4. Initiates Projects / Communication to support recommendations

The Committee will close the loop with feedback until action is finalised.
