Cliff Pollard Award Applications now open

Associate Professor Cliff Pollard AM is a former chair of the Queensland Statewide Trauma Clinical Network, Director of the Queensland Trauma Registry and Director of Trauma Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

Associate Professor Pollard’s vision included the establishment of Jamieson Trauma Institute (JTI) to advance trauma research that directly improves patient care.

This award will support health practitioners to continue the pioneering work of Associate Professor Pollard. The Award will support:

1. A project which improves outcomes of patient care after trauma
2. A project which shows implementation of improvement of trauma care within Queensland
3. A project that advances the opportunities, impact and benefits of trauma care in rural and regional Queensland.

Applications to the Cliff Pollard Award open on Monday 4 October 2021, and will close at 11:59pm on Sunday 28 November 2021.
