The Comprehensive Breast Cancer Institute supports all breast cancer research activities across Metro North hospitals including:

The CBCI research activities include clinical trials, implementation research and health economics studies in a holistic approach across the entire patient care pathway. Our vision is to rapidly translate research outcomes into clinical practice, to inform the decisions of policy makers, clinicians, and consumers and to ultimately improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients.

Scaffold-guided Breast Surgery Clinical Trial
The Scaffold-guided Breast Surgery Clinical Trial is a world first, and is a collaboration between CBCI and the Herston Biofabrication Institute (HBI).
