Project Description
Chloe Tannagan

MPhil Candidate
I am currently working as a clinical nurse consultant within Metro North and have a background in perioperative nursing and biomedical research.
I commenced my MPhil in April 2025, under the guidance of Professor Owen Ung and my supervisory team. I am particularly excited to investigate patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in the patient cohort who have undergone world-first breast reconstruction surgery, involving 3D-printed PCL scaffold and autologous fat-grafting. My aim is to demonstrate the significance of integrating comprehensive PROs in shaping clinical decision-making and enhancing patient outcomes within this innovative surgical approach.
I am optimistic that this research will not only contribute significantly to improving the quality of life of current and future patients who will benefit from this procedure, but will also establish a strong foundation for my future contributions to the field of healthcare innovation.
