Collaborative project, COMFIT: Towards Custom Fitting CPAP devices for premature infants, presented two posters at PSANZ2023. The abstracts are published on the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health Volume 59.

The COMFIT project brings together clinicians, researchers, engineers and designers from the RBWH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Herston Biofabrication Unit and Queensland Institute of Medical Research. Together the team is looking at the feasibility and acceptability of 3D scanners for use in the neonatal intensive care environment. To date 13 neonatal clinicians have been trained as 3D scanners, with over 20 babies recruited to the study.
