Dr Andrew Dalley
Clinical Scientist, Queensland Skin Culture Centre (QSCC), RBWH
Andrew is a clinical scientist at the Queensland Skin Culture Centre (RBWH), biofabrication scientist, and research scientist at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research. Andrew was awarded his PhD in Medicine, and BSc Honours in Pharmacology from the University of Sheffield (UK).
Andrew is a practical molecular cell biologist with a strong focus towards clinically translatable research within the hospital setting. His academic experience spans adult and children’s burns research and adult cancer research. He has researched aberrant pharmacokinetics in burnt patients, post-burn hypertrophic scar development, diagnostic techniques to define surgical borders for intra-oral cancer excision and is currently coordinating a national multi-site clinical trial of techniques to improve the efficacy of bronchoscopic lung cancer diagnosis.
