Kindness, Care and Community: will keep you strong

The COVID-19 pandemic had significant impacts on the mental wellbeing and physical health of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. This included being unable to connect with community in the usual way, financial worries and experiencing changes in a short period of time. It’s been challenging so you may not be caring for your health as well as you used to.

We have launched our Kindness, Care and Community communication campaign to inspire conversations and action to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to get back on track with caring for their mental and physical health.

This campaign acknowledges the holistic approach to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health including social, emotional, physical, cultural and spiritual wellbeing.
