Caboolture Hospital Outpatient Services Department Imaging review – Update #3
Our specialist team continues to review scans and contact patients needing follow-up care. We are aiming to have most of the high priority reviews completed as soon as possible.
Metro North has widened its review to include 12,529 patients. The increase reflects the clearer picture emerging as patient data is validated and cross-checked through the review. The review remains confined to Caboolture Hospital’s Specialist Outpatients Service. There is no indication that any other departments or Metro North Health facilities have been affected by this issue.
So far, 98% of images (12,156 patients) have been reviewed and cleared.
Twenty-one patients have been contacted for follow-up appointments. Patient information remains confidential, and affected patients are being supported.
