Senior Medical Officer, Clinical Protocols – Comprehensive Breast Cancer Institute
Sandy is CBCI’s Senior Medical Officer (SMO) responsible for leading the development of clinical protocols to enhance standardisation of breast cancer care across Metro North Health. This will include protocols to support the new Comprehensive Diagnostic Breast Clinic (CDBC).
Sandy is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with over 30 years medical education and communication experience. Sandy has lived experience of a family member with metastatic breast cancer and her own high-risk status which bring a unique perspective to the role.
