BSc (Hons), DPhil

Jess joined the Herston Biofabrication Institute in 2026 as Principal Research Partnerships Coordinator with The University of Queensland (UQ). She supports research development, funding and partnership management activities across HBI and UQ.

Jess received her DPhil (PhD) in Interdisciplinary Bioscience from The University of Oxford, where her research in neuroscience focused on the neuromodulatory control of dopamine signalling. Prior to joining HBI, Jess worked in the UK medical research charity sector, with experience in research funding, policy and governance.
