Lauren Drabwell

Biomedical Engineer

Lauren is a Biomedical Engineer for the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care program, specifically for Wellcome LEAP’s abdominal laparoscopic training model development.

Lauren is a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Science at QUT, with majors in medical engineering and physics. She has completed a Work Integrated Learning placement at HBI, working with the Cancer Care program to develop breast lumpectomy training models. Additionally, her honours project focused on improvement of 3D facial scan workflows for personalised medical device production.
