Permanent power connection works for the new Clinical Services Building
The underground works for the new power supply connection are now completed with minor reinstatement and landscaping works within road reserves to finish.
Clinical Services Building and Central Energy Building sites
Construction activities:
- Ongoing installation of hydraulics, mechanical, fire protection, electrical services and lifts.
- Ongoing façade infill and screen installation.
- Internal wall framing and sheeting on Levels 3 and 4.
- Ceiling installation on Levels 1, 2 and 5.
- FF&E activities on Level 1
- Floor finishes, painting and waterproofing activities on Levels 1,2,3,4
- Fitoff activities to early access ICT rooms
- Central courtyard construction
- Blockwork and structural steel activities for the Central Energy Building.
- In-ground structure for the linkways
What to expect:
- Neighbours may experience some noise, dust and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
Multi-Storey Carpark site
Construction activities:
- Façade screening install.
- Roadworks on the hospital ring road between the multi-storey carpark and the private hospital.
- Internal line marking
What to expect:
- Single lane closure on hospital ring road managed by traffic lights and traffic controllers.
- Carparking around private hospital area impacted at times.
- Additional lighting after hours during stencilling activity.
Building and Engineering Maintenance Services (BEMS) Building site (southern side of the hospital campus)
Construction activities:
- Roofing activities.
- Ongoing façade framing and internal partition activities.
- Façade blockwork and cladding activities
- High level services install activities.
- Scaffold removal to southern facade
What to expect:
- Neighbours may experience some noise, dust and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
New storage facilities site (western side of hospital campus)
Construction activities:
- Scaffold and reinforcement activities for the new hydraulic pump room
What to expect:
- Neighbours may experience some noise, dust and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
Mortuary and Hearse Bay works (services block refurbishment works)
Construction activities:
- Commencement of internal in ground hydraulics
- Removal and existing asphalt pavement
- Commencement of excavation and in-ground structure activities
What to expect:
- Increased construction activity and vehicle movements on the southern side of the hospital campus, near the public carpark.
- Noise during concrete cutting and breaking activities. Neighbours may experience some noise, dust, fumes and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
