JTI research on long-term use of opioids by patients with rib fractures has won two awards on presentations delivered by Dr Fran Williamson. She won the best oral medical paper for her presentation at the Australia and New Zealand Trauma Society conference in Brisbane and won an abstract prize for the study presentation at the University of Queensland Faculty of Medicine Research Day.
