Installation of a new covered walkway located at the emergency entrance is due for completion in early November. Once complete, patients entering the hospital from the emergency drop-off zone will use the new covered walkway to access the Emergency Entrance.
A first-of-its-kind pharmaceutical program launched across Metro North Hospital and Health Service this month will allow greater access to medications for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients visiting its facilities.
From Monday 12 October until Thursday 15 October 2020 our project team will be busy installing a new covered walkway connecting the emergency drop-off zone to the front entry into the hospital.
