Clinical Services Building and Central Energy Building sites
Construction activities:
- Ongoing installation of hydraulics, mechanical, fire protection, electrical services, and lifts.
- Ongoing façade installation.
- Ceiling tile installation on Level 3 and 4.
- Fittings and fixtures installation on Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- Localised floor finishes and painting on Levels 3 and 4.
- Ongoing central courtyard works.
- Commissioning works for the Central Energy Building.
- Linkway activities.
- Commissioning activities and witness testing.
- Civil works adjacent to McKean Street and hospital main entry.
- Lighting protection works.
What to expect:
- Pedestrian diversions around works on McKean Street with access maintained at all times.
- Fire alarm testing.
- Boom lift located in existing ambulance bay.
- People entering/exiting the emergency entry to the hospital may experience some noise,
dust and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
Multi-Storey Car Park site
Construction activities:
- External footpath works.
- Continuation of civil road works.
- Operator booth works.
- Services fit-off and commissioning.
What to expect:
- Neighbours may experience some noise, dust and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
New storage facilities site (western side of hospital campus)

Mortuary and Hearse Bay works (services block refurbishment works)
Construction activities:
- Ongoing external structure activities.
- Perimeter wall framing.
- Ongoing high-level service installation.
What to expect:
- Increased construction activity and vehicle movements on the southern side of the hospital campus, near the public carpark.
- Staff may experience some noise, dust and vibration impacts. Every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.
