The COH Elders Yarning Circle is a culturally safe space led by respected local Elders in partnership with the COH Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Team. As the longest‑running Yarning Circle within Metro North Health, it brings together Elders, community members and service partners to share stories, exchange ideas and influence health priorities, policy and practice.
The COH Yarning Circle supports truth‑telling, strengthens health literacy and provides opportunities to learn about chronic disease, preventative care and available health services. It also helps identify service gaps and shape meaningful improvements across Community and Oral Health and partner organisations.
