Lisa is a registered Genetic Counsellor working predominantly in the area of cancer genetics. With a long-held interest in genetics, Lisa has been involved in healthcare for many years. Lisa has worked as a genetic counsellor for over 8 years in both general and cancer genetics. She has previously worked as a scientist researching human pigmentation genetics, performing genetic testing for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 and diagnosing early onset diseases in the Newborn Screening laboratory at Pathology Queensland. Lisa is an active member of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia and the Australian Society of Genetic Counsellors. Lisa has a passion for helping clients to understand their genetic risk and the implications of genetic testing.
