HGSA Registered Senior Genetic Counsellor

Simon is a registered Genetic Counsellor working at Genetic Health Queensland. Simon has worked as a Genetic Counsellor interstate and in QLD for over a decade and is located at Bundaberg Hospital. He is an experience genetic counselling in both cancer and general genetics.  Simon is a fellow of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA), holds the position of Chair of the HGSA and Clinical Oncology Society of Australia’s Cancer Special Interest Group, and is an active member on several committees within the HGSA and the Australian Society of Genetic Counsellors. Simon is actively involved in research, regularly supervises genetic counselling students on their placements, and is a lecturer at the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School.
