Jacintha Luermans

Jacintha is a registered Associate Genetic Counsellor working at Genetic Health Queensland since 2018.  Initially in the Brisbane office, she moved back to the Sunshine Coast in 2021, where she now works out of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Jacintha mainly works in Cancer Genetics, providing patient-centred, equitable genetic counselling for individuals and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis throughout Queensland. Her appointments are mainly via telehealth, although in person appointments on the Sunshine Coast can also be facilitated at patient request. Jacintha is an active member of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia, the Australasian Society of Genetic Counsellors and the HGSA COSA Cancer SIG.
