Lorelle Whittaker joined the RBWH HREC in 2010 as a lay member driven by an interest in ensuring the general public would understand prospective research proposals prior to consenting to participate in a research study.  After an extensive career spanning 45 years as a Secretary/Administrator in Government, Insurance, Education and Retail sectors, Lorelle has retired.  Lorelle served as a Juror on a number of occasions, as well as contributing to the community by holding positions including executive positions on a number of committees including Redcliffe Golf Club, Newmarket State School P&C and OSHC as well as Girls’ Grammar Parents & Friends.  Lorelle is a mother and grandmother, enjoying time spent with her granddaughters after school, helping with reading and homework.  Golf, Travel, Dancing and Reading are also passions.
