Michelle is a registered Genetic Counsellor at GHQ. Michelle commenced in Locum roles in Mackay and Brisbane in 2004 before moving to Townsville in 2005. Michelle is an experienced genetic counsellor in cancer, general, and prenatal genetics. Michelle provides patient-centred, equitable care for individuals and families throughout Queensland, both in-person at the Kirwan Community Health Centre and via telehealth. Michelle has an interest in telehealth genetic counselling and has enjoyed providing telehealth appointments to rural and remote patients throughout her career.
Michelle is an active member of the HGSA, ASGC and the HGSA COSA cancer SIG.
