Dr Jack Bell

Jack is an AHRC Principal Research Fellow and amongst other things, Adjunct Professor at the University of Iceland. Jack’s contributions locally and globally span knowledge advancement, patient-reported outcomes, clinical practice, policy, and research capacity building. As a member of the Fragility Fracture Network (Global) Executive, Jack is leading nutrition implementation and education programs that are being adopted across global settings. Locally, his achievements are recognized through awards including the 2022 TPCH Researcher of the Year and the 2022 Queensland Health Allied Health Translating Research Into Practice Enabler. Jack enjoys spending time with his family in remote locations devoid of mobile phone or internet access. He also enjoys collaborating with health professionals from various backgrounds and levels of research experience on initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare value, especially in the areas of fragility fracture, malnutrition, and de-implementation.
