#Nextcare Health Conference 2019 – a stellar leadership experience

The inaugural #Nextcare Health Conference was an extraordinary two days of development and learning for healthcare leaders from across the globe, looking to connect, inspire and transform their careers.

Over 400 delegates descended on Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre to hear from 21 renowned speakers, with Bernard Salt AM and Dr Ginni Mansberg shining as Masters of Ceremonies.

Day One featured leadership insights from healthcare chief executive Shaun Drummond, body language expert Dr Louise Mahler, media personality Dr Andrew Rochford and health digital innovator Dr Clair Sullivan. The day concluded with the twilight Welcome Reception, a chance for delegates to mingle and unwind among some stellar entertainment against a backdrop of the Brisbane city skyline.

The exclusive Leaders Breakfast, hosted by workplace culture experts Margherita Larné-Jones & Quentin Jones, launched delegates into Day Two with the ultimate Leaders Masterclass. Highlights of the day included keynotes from award-winning documentary maker Todd Sampson and change-maker Phill Nosworthy. The event concluded with a moving tale of heroism and teamwork from MICA paramedic Peter Davidson and a lively and energetic presentation from joy expert Amanda Gore.
