Site Activity Update – Monday 30 May to Friday 10 June 2022

National Reconciliation Week | 27 May – 3 June

We acknowledge the Custodians of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi people and the Kabi Kabi people, and pay our respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present and future.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Lendlease acknowledges and supports National Reconciliation Week on all our project sites. The 2022 Theme, Be Brave. Make Change. urges all Australians to make change beginning with brave actions in our daily lives – where we live, work, play and socialise.

Permanent power connection works for new Clinical Services Building

Works to connect power supply to the new Clinical Services Building is ongoing. Works include underground investigations into existing Energex conduits, digging at existing pits, and pulling new cables. These works begin at the McKean Street roundabout and continue north along Pettigrew Street to the substation on Jensen Road. These works will take approximately three months to complete (subject to weather and ground conditions). Please see map below for alignment and locations of temporary work sites.

What to expect:

  • Reduced speed limits, partial lane closures and footpath diversions along Pettigrew Street, Lindwall Street and Jensen Road. Changes are anticipated to be in place for two to three weeks before moving to the next location.
  • All works will take place within road reserves. We do not anticipate the need to access private properties.
