Temporary Access to Emergency Department

From September 2020, patients requiring urgent medical attention and access to the Caboolture Hospital Emergency Department, including mothers in active labour, will be required to use a new road located off McKean Street.

The new road will provide direct access to the Emergency Department drop-off area and the short-term Emergency Department carpark. Ambulance, police and fire vehicles will also use this new entry point to access emergency drop-off.

These works are to ensure that safe and direct access to the Emergency Department is maintained through construction of the redevelopment.
