BreastScreen Queensland
BreastScreen Queensland is a statewide breast cancer screening service for eligible Queenslanders.
A breast screen is an x-ray of the breast (also called a mammogram). Breast screens can find cancers that are too small to see or feel.
BreastScreen Queensland Brisbane Northside Service offers free breast screen services to asymptomatic women and assessment workup of screen detected mammographic abnormalities up to the point of diagnosis of breast cancer or requiring surgical excision for women aged 50-74 within the Metro North catchment.
