Getting a text message from Queensland Health

Metro North Health may contact you if you’re on a hospital wait list.

You might get a text message (SMS) from ‘QLD Health’.

It will include a secure link to a short online form.

We use a trusted system, built by Queensland Health to send this form.

Why we contact you

We may ask you to fill in a form to:

  • Confirm if you still need your appointment
  • Check your contact details
  • Ask if you prefer a video appointment (Telehealth)
  • Ask if you use the NDIS
  • Help improve care for everyone

This is called a wait list audit. It helps us keep our records up to date and fair for all patients.

How to use

If you get a text message from QLD Health with a link for wait list auditing:

Tap the link in the message, you will then receive a code from msverify to confirm your identity.
