If you have been placed on a hospital wait list, you may receive an SMS asking you to complete an online form to confirm whether you still need your appointment. The message will come from ‘QLD Health’ and the form is provided through our trusted digital partner Personify Care.
Getting a text message from Queensland Health
Metro North Health may contact you if you’re on a hospital wait list.
You might get a text message (SMS) from ‘QLD Health’.
It will include a secure link to a short online form.
We use a trusted system called Personify Care to send this form.
Why we contact you
We may ask you to fill in a form to:
- Confirm if you still need your appointment
- Check your contact details
- Ask if you prefer a video appointment (Telehealth)
- Ask if you have a disability or use the NDIS
- Help improve care for everyone
This is called a wait list audit. It helps us keep our records up to date and fair for all patients.
