Remember when we all received two additional days of leave for full time and part time employees (pro-rata) in recognition of the contribution we all made to Queensland’s COVID-19 response?

This special leave will expire on Friday 9 September (after two years). If you have these leave hours on your payslip, please arrange with your line manager to take these days off before they expire.

I want all CKW staff to take this leave but about half of you still haven’t done so! It can’t be cashed in, carried over and will simply disappear if you don’t take it before the deadline.

It’s easy! Check with your supervisor and submit a leave request via myHR. When entering the leave details, choose ‘other leave’ and type ‘COVID response leave’ in the please specify text box.

Staff flu vaccinations continue

Flu vaccinations are now available from the Infection Control office on Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm to 3.45pm. Don’t forget your staff ID and Medicare card.
