The Health Service Strategy and Planning Unit (HSSPU) coordinates the development of operational plans for Metro North Business Units, Directorates and Clinical Streams and related reporting each year on behalf of the Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director Clinical Services.

Improving the health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples remains a priority for Metro North Health. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership Team will be leading the development of the Metro North Health Equity Strategy with the support of the Health Service Strategy and Planning team over the next nine months.

Metro North Health is developing a Metro North Outpatient Services Plan 2021-2024. This Plan is an opportunity to explore new ways to improve processes and access to outpatient care that is patient centred, integrated, effective, efficient and safe.
