Sadly, today is my last day with Metro North Health for 12 months.

Many of you will know that there has been a broader campaign across Metro North to ‘Make the Switch’ around the use of medications, consumables and testing which will help us to develop cost effective strategies to improve the care we provide.

Connecting Your Care project: Healthcare Excellence and Innovation will be commencing planning on a large body of work relating to non-admitted patient activity, under the Connecting Your Care initiative on behalf of the Department of Health.

I am pleased to announce the Knowledge Translation, Innovation and Implementation hub project planning, led by our team in Healthcare Excellence and Innovation (HEI) is progressing well.

I am very pleased to announce that Dr Daniel Chambers will be commencing as the new Metro North Executive Director Research from Monday. Dan brings to the role more than 15 years of both clinical and research experience within Metro North and other health services.
