INTENSE RAINFALL EVENT UPDATE
Stand Down
Metro North has moved to STAND DOWN for the intense rainfall event (STAND DOWN Code Brown). We are currently firmly in recovery operations.
You can see the levels of activation and what they mean in your local Emergency Management Plan. Our Emergency Management team continues to monitor the weather situation closely. We will re-activate should it be required in the short term.
Current situation
The Brisbane River has been dropping and is now below the MINOR flood level at high tide. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a final flood warning for the lower Brisbane River.
Metro North is still providing support to flood isolated communities, vulnerable facilities and evacuation centres.
