Thank you for your ongoing dedication and incredible efforts this week! Operating in a constant state of change has somewhat become our new normal, so my sincere thanks to all of you for your adaptability as new directives are announced.  

• Following yesterday’s new Hospital Entry Direction (No. 9), Dr David Rosengren, A/ MN Chief Operating Officer circulated a Memo which provides an excellent snapshot of the tighter visitor restrictions, in particular the ED, Maternity and Birthing Services, and Paediatrics. Please ensure all staff have read and understand the updated visitors restrictions to ensure we are providing the correct advice to our patients, their families and carers.
• From next Monday (24/01), MN will begin offering COVID-19 booster vaccinations three months after people have received their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
• Fit testing continues to be a major priority for all MN staff.
• Our preparedness and response to the pandemic is working really well. We got this!

Stay calm, slow COVID, and for those taking a break this weekend, stay safe and enjoy yourself. And as always, staff that will continue servicing our community over weekend, my sincere thanks.
