While Angie Dobbrick continues as Acting Executive Director at TPCH and Dr Simon Bugden takes some planned leave, I am acting Executive Director for the CKW Directorate this week (to Friday 24 June).

I continue to lead the COVID-19 response and am highly supported by our fabulous Emergency Operations Centres (EOC).

Caboolture Hospital continues to be exceedingly busy and I thank you all for your hard work.

We continue to provide care across several wards for our COVID-19 positive patients and as of today we will change the PPE requirements to high risk.

At this stage, this is Caboolture Hospital wards 3B, GLAD, 2A, 3A and 4A. PPE requirements for these wards are an N95 mask and eye protection for staff at all times.

I would also encourage N95 masks in other wards and areas where there may be patients with other respiratory illnesses.

This decision has been made in line with the current Metro North Guide for PPE Use.
