Learn, move!
My favourite quote from Lord of the Rings is “There may be a day when the hearts of men and women may fail … but today is not that day … for today we fight!”
We are currently buffeted by winds and challenges, facing an unknown flu/COVID peak, pulled in all sorts of directions … it can seem overwhelming, but hold onto hope and make moves to do something which creates progress. “If you are walking through the valley of death … do not stop!” Keep moving, work out how to get out of the situation.
Tier 3 COVID Response
Another surge, another set of challenges. We know what we are doing, we have got this. Let’s keep learning, adjusting and have some fun as we progress through this version of Tier 3.
Thanks for wearing N95 masks, don’t forget the eyewear as the BA5 version is spreading very fast and does infect through your eyes (conjunctiva).
This is what you are creating …
“I will never forget the one nurse, whose name I don’t know, she was the most caring understanding lady, she gave me numbing cream as I have a fear of needles and she was stroking and calming me just before surgery.
“I was petrified of the surgery, the care I received from everyone being very understanding of this and not making me feel bad about it was amazing.
“Everybody made me feel extremely comfortable and was very patient with my scared self.”
You are making a difference in people’s lives.
Stay calm, slow COVID … and make changes to get to a better place.
Simon.
