Mums and bubs of Caboolture in good hands with newest graduates
It’s a full circle moment for one of Caboolture Hospital’s newest midwife graduates, Tahlia.
Just one of the many nursing and midwifery graduates to secure their first preference within Caboolture Hospital’s graduate program, the mother-of-two is returning to where it all began.
“I had both my two children here at Caboolture Hospital and had such a wonderful experience,” Tahlia said.
“That’s why I knew I wanted to work here once I graduated, I wanted to be a part of this inspiring and supportive team.”
Tahlia is just one of 11 midwife graduates to have started at the hospital this year.
“The graduate program, and the support here has been fantastic,” said fellow graduate midwife Heidi.
“The team, the educators and fellow staff have been very welcoming and supportive.”
Caboolture Hospital was the first preference for Tahlia, Heidi and Kiarna after they all completed their placement rotations during their studies.
“I feel very lucky to have secured a graduate position here at Caboolture Hospital,” said Kiarna.
“It feels like a big family here and I look forward to having a long career here.”
