Community and Oral Health Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Team

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Team provides culturally safe, equitable and appropriate culturally safe health care engagement, brokerage, support and advocacy to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients that are referred to COH, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families and carers within the community.

• Cultural awareness education and training
• Act as a Cultural link between health professionals, patients, careers and families
• Home visit’s
• Health promotion
• Community engagement
• Service access support.
