Rheumatology in Primary Care
Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Brisbane North PHN invite GPs to join our Metro North Rheumatologist experts for an evening of education and discussion.
The webinar will include discussions on the vital role of GPs in managing three common conditions in rheumatology as well as how to optimise your patients’ use of Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs (DMARDs). Find out about state-wide resources available to support maintaining best rheumatology practice.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the webinar.
Learning outcomes
- Review and refresh current best practice for identifying and managing rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory back pain.
- Master resolving gout attacks and treating uric acid to prevent recurrence.
- Identify how to help your patients make the best and safest use of DMARDs through
shared care with their rheumatologist. - Outline and discuss how to navigate rheumatology services in community and
hospital settings including when to refer.
