Metro North Health has introduced a new electronic medical record system at Caboolture Hospital, Kilcoy Hospital, and Woodford Correctional Centre (CKW) which replaces traditional paper-based clinical charts, is supporting improved outcomes for patients.

The launch of the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) has significantly changed how CKW delivers healthcare to patients.

Clinicians now have a single, universal view of critical patient information that can be viewed simultaneously across CKW, as well as from any Queensland Health facility with the ieMR.

This ease of access to patient information has enabled improvements in safety and quality in clinical workflow processes, removing inefficiencies related to clinicians’ previous reliance on paper medical records.

Clinicians are also supported by a range of integrated clinical decision support tools, digital early warnings and alerts, and analytics capabilities available within the ieMR.
