Women’s Business Shared Pathway
The Women’s Business Shared Pathway provides culturally safe gynaecology care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. It is a free service available across Brisbane’s North.
You can see the Women’s Business team at the following locations:
- Nundah Community Health Centre
- Pine Rivers Community Health Centre
- Morayfield MATSICHS
- Deception Bay MATSICHS
Common conditions we see, include:
- persistent pelvic pain
- endometriosis
- abnormal vaginal bleeding
- heavy menstrual bleeding
- painful and/or irregular periods
- abnormal cervical screening results
- urinary incontinence
Our friendly team includes a gynaecologist, clinical nurse, physiotherapist, dietitian and administration officer.
We work in partnership with the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH).
GPs and community organisations can refer patients to the Women’s Business Shared Pathway using GP Smart Referrals, or call or email us.
