Emergency Department upgrade underway at Redcliffe Hospital

A $10 million upgrade has begun for the Redcliffe Hospital Emergency Department.

Redcliffe Hospital’s Emergency Department is one of the busiest in Queensland.  The upgrade will provide a new paediatric section with separate reception, waiting areas, and treatment spaces for children and families.

The Emergency Department will remain open and fully functional throughout the upgrade.

During the works, the front door of the Emergency Department will be temporarily relocated to the western side of the building. There will also be a temporary car turn-around with short-term parking to make sure everyone can access the Emergency Department whenever it is needed.

This upgrade is the latest in a long list of new and improved facilities at Redcliffe Hospital.
