Descriptive Statistics in SPSS
In this session, Dr Emma Ballard will show researchers how to run descriptive statistics in SPSS, including:
- The features of a dataset in Excel and bringing it into SPSS
- Examine continuous data and decide on its distribution
- Run frequencies on categorical data
- Choose the right statistical tests for the dataset
- Analyse the data
- Learn what statistics to extract from the output and how to present them in a table for a manuscript
- Interpretation of the results
