Keynote speaker – Ms Ann-Maree Gordon,
- Coordinator for the RBWH Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) for the past six years and was the Assistant Coordinator prior to that.
- Has worked in Queensland Health for over eleven years (ten and a half years in the Research Ethics Office).
- Has vast experience providing advice to researchers on ethical topics, HREC applications and processes.
Keynote speaker – Ms Ascar Yu
- Currently the Research Governance Officer at The Prince Charles Hospital.
- Is experienced in providing administrative support for health research and has worked at Sunshine Coast HHS and the University of Queensland.
- Holds a combined degree of Science and Law and Masters in Intellectual Property.
