Words can’t express my gratitude enough in terms of the Community and Oral Health response to the severe weather and flooding that occurred late last month.

Again, I want to thank all of our areas, our emergency response, on-call and duty nurse manager teams, home visiting and virtual services, and everyone for all you did.

This edition of the Community and Oral Health is about acknowledging the compassionate and committed effort of our staff and the way everyone rolled up their sleeves in a time of crisis.

There are many people and teams I could acknowledge but I will leave that to my colleagues to tell us in their own words how much staff have gone above and beyond during a difficult time.

Over the past few weeks, I have asked many of you to nominate our teams and individuals for our regular Shining Star Award.

But the March Award is different and focused on our Wet Weather Warriors. in the face of adversity, there isn’t a better team than COH to be working with – You are all Shining Stars!

Please find following our Wet Weather Warriors – our Shining Stars for March 2022!

Well done and congratulation to all of the winners who are all deserving of this recognition.
