Hi Team Royal,

I need to start with a huge thank you to everyone who took the opportunity to have their voice heard by completing the Have Your Say Survey. You have done RBWH proud, with over 3,700 or 57% of you completing the survey. No matter how you look at it, for a staff survey, that is an outstanding response. Thanks to all of you for having a voice. We now have the opportunity to work together to respond to the challenges and opportunities your collective voice will inspire. 

Our RBWH COVID-19 Vaccination clinic continues to ramp up as the vaccine becomes available to broader sections of the population. Our vaccination clinic team continues to do an incredible job, providing more than 900 COVID-19 vaccinations per day on busy days. Keep up the great work.   

In this issue of News at the Royal, we celebrate our amazing nurses and midwives who received recognition in the Metro North Nursing and Midwifery Awards. We say happy birthday to the RBWH Hyperbaric Unit who just turned 11, and hear about how the care we provided has helped a former patient achieve her dreams.   

RBWH Foundation’s ‘Raise it for the Royal’ Giving Day is almost here on the 23 June. Join me and the hundreds of staff who have already pledged to participate in raising more than $500,000 for lifesaving medical research and health innovation. There are a range of activities throughout the day that you can get involved. Read on below for more information.
